The competition that drives us
Formula Student is the world's largest engineering design competition. Student teams from universities across the globe design, build and race a small open-wheel race car from scratch — then defend every technical decision in front of professional judges from the motorsport and automotive industry. Cars are scored across both static events (design, cost, business plan) and dynamic events (acceleration, skidpad, autocross, endurance). PSM competes at the Portuguese round, FSPT, which follows the international FSG (Formula Student Germany) regulations.
